AuroraNotifier

Aurora Notifier is an app that uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notifications about the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights. It allows users to configure notifications for local aurora probability, Kp-index, solar wind parameters, and Kp-level forecasts for the evening. Additionally, users can be alerted when other nearby app users have witnessed the auroral light display. To enable the alert feature, the app allows users to upload aurora reports when they successfully hunt for and view the auroral light display themselves. The premium version of the app offers additional technical information, graphs of Kp-index predictions, cloud cover, solar wind parameters, and some hidden features, which can be purchased within the app.
