For three consecutive years, LG's OLED TVs have remained our top choice for console gaming due to their exceptional picture quality, minimal input lag, and high refresh rates. The 2025 C5 model features LG’s proprietary Evo panel, delivering significantly higher brightness and a broader color gamut compared to standard W-OLED sets. Beyond the increased manufacturing costs, this technology offers undeniable advantages; the C5 provides near-infinite black levels, exceptional contrast ratios, and instantaneous response times typical of premium OLEDs. It stands out as an ideal choice for experiencing 4K HDR content exactly as intended.

The LG C5 also supports essential gaming features, including a native 120Hz panel that can be overclocked to 144Hz, HDMI 2.1 ports for playing PS5 games at 4K resolution up to 120fps, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto low latency mode (ALLM). Furthermore, the C5 is remarkably lightweight for its dimensions thanks to a composite fiber rear housing; notably, the 65-inch version weighs only 36 pounds without the stand, simplifying wall mounting.
