Adventure Time Sequel Comic Arrives April 2025

For those feeling a pang of nostalgia for the whimsical world of Adventure Time, Oni Press has exciting news! Teaming up with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, they're launching a new monthly Adventure Time comic book series, debuting in April 2025.

Adventure Time #1, written by Nick Winn with interior art by Derek Ballard, picks up after the animated series finale. Finn and Jake's misadventures continue in the Land of Ooo, beginning with a story arc titled "Best of Buds."

“Adventure Time was such a huge part of my childhood,” Winn shared. “It was hilarious, but also possessed an emotional depth rarely seen in shows of its time. Revisiting Ooo with Oni Press has been a joy and a challenge—creating something new while retaining the show's energy and charm.”

Adventure Time #1 will be available April 9, 2025, priced at $4.99. Final order cutoff is March 17, 2025.
