Fresh insights into Assassin's Creed Shadows have emerged online after an art book reportedly surfaced on an unexpected site, including a platform known for adult content.
Discovered on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, the art book titled "The Art of Assassin's Creed Shadows" has rapidly spread across the web. It features hundreds of pages with concept art, developer quotes, and insights into the upcoming Assassin's Creed title.
The leak is striking, but the Reddit post also claimed it originated from a site associated with adult content, making it particularly unusual. IGN has reached out to Ubisoft for comment.

The book reveals intriguing details, showcasing concepts for historical figures, major cities, and diverse weapons. The artwork may also hint at potential plot spoilers for Assassin's Creed Shadows, though confirmation awaits the game’s release. The images appear authentic based on what’s been shared.
The leak comes just before the Assassin's Creed Shadows launch on March 20, 2025, following a delay from 2024 to February.
During a recent Shadows preview event, IGN interviewed game director Charles Benoit, who explained that the delay focused on "polishing" without altering core systems. The team refined "progression elements for better engagement and balanced gameplay," Benoit noted, with significant attention to the parkour system, challenged by Feudal Japan’s unique setting.
"Japanese architecture, especially the roofs, is incredibly intricate," he said. "It’s the most complex environment I’ve worked on compared to Odyssey or Syndicate. We developed specific code and animations to ensure smooth, fluid parkour transitions, addressing feedback to enhance the experience in recent months."
