Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has made a triumphant entry into the gaming world, achieving a remarkable feat on its debut day. Ubisoft proudly shared via the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account that AC Shadows surpassed the 1 million player mark within just 15 hours of its launch.

Currently, AC Shadows stands as the top-selling game on Steam, outperforming other recent hits like Monster Hunter Wilds and Split Fiction. Data from SteamDB indicates that AC Shadows reached an all-time peak of 41,412 concurrent players on March 20. The game enjoys a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, with 82% of the reviews being positive.
