The Battle of Polytopia is currently free on the Epic Games Store, making this the ideal time to join. With the $10,000 World Championship approaching, new players can dive in, learn the basics, and perhaps even aim for a spot in December's live finals in Stockholm. While that may seem ambitious, there's no harm in dreaming big.
Starting September 13th, the championship kicks off with The Battle of the Tribes—a ten-week qualification phase. Each weekend features tournaments where players battle in the Might game mode, capturing capitals in best-of-three, single-elimination matches.
Each qualifier will crown a champion representing one of Polytopia’s 12 tribes. These winners advance to November's Face Off round, where the field narrows to six finalists. These six will be flown to Stockholm for the in-person finals on December 6th, complete with a live audience, professional commentary, and the opportunity to compete at Midjiwan's headquarters.

The prize pool offers strong incentives: $4,000 for first place, $2,000 for second, $1,500 each for third and fourth, and $500 for the remaining two finalists. Entry is free and open to anyone 18 or older. You can register through Challengermode’s Polytopia Official Space or directly in the game under Multiplayer > Tournaments.
With no entry fees, cash prizes available, and the game free this week, now is the perfect opportunity to test your strategic skills. Download The Battle of Polytopia for free today. Visit the official website for more details. Your journey toward glory—and possibly a trip to Stockholm—starts here.
