While the Staff of Ice, like its Black Ops II counterpart, requires three parts, you can get lucky and find it in The Tomb's Mystery Box. However, this relies entirely on chance. Using the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum increases your odds, but it's no guarantee, as the Ray Gun is also a possibility. For a guaranteed acquisition, follow the crafting steps below.

Obtaining the Staff of Ice Monocle

The first part, the Monocle, drops from the first Shock Mimic you eliminate in a match. Simply interact with it to add it to your inventory.

Obtaining the Staff of Ice Head Piece

The Head Piece and Staff pieces require similar puzzle solutions and survival of a lockdown. They can be obtained in any order.

To get the Head Piece, locate the wall with the cave painting in the Neolithic Catacombs. If the wall isn't illuminated, activate a Dark Aether lantern nearby. The fire will shift between lanterns; you need the one closest to the painting lit. This reveals Roman numerals (I-X) on the wall. Shoot them in ascending order. Incorrect shots allow you to resume from the last correct one. Use a standard bullet weapon; splash or explosive damage can disrupt the sequence. Completing this triggers a lockdown. Survive the ensuing onslaught to claim the Head Piece.

Obtaining the Staff of Ice Staff Piece

For the Staff piece, go to the Tombs room. Manipulate the lanterns to light the one nearest the Bull Mural (head facing left). This reveals Roman numerals (I-VIII). Shoot them in ascending order. Surviving the subsequent lockdown earns you the Staff piece.

Completing the Staff of Ice

Once you have all three parts, head to the Dark Aether Nexus (access it via the Door to Nowhere). Interact with the central structure to assemble the Staff. A wave of enemies will attack; defend the Staff until it's complete. Utilize perks, upgraded weapons, and GobbleGums (Kill Joy, Free Fire) to enhance your survival chances.
