Get ready for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta! Activision, during the inaugural Call of Duty podcast, revealed the beta test schedule, spanning two phases.

  • Early Access (August 30th - September 4th): Available to those who pre-ordered Black Ops 6 or have active subscriptions to select Game Pass plans.
  • Open Beta (September 6th - 9th): Open to all players.

Mark your calendars! The full game launches October 25th, 2024, on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Game Pass.

New Game Mechanics & Features:

Treyarch's Associate Director of Design, Matt Scronce, shared exciting details:

  • Multiplayer Maps: 16 maps at launch – 12 standard 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps playable in 6v6 or 2v2 modes.
  • Zombies Mode Returns: Two new maps await zombie enthusiasts.
  • Omnimovement: A brand-new movement mechanic.
  • Traditional Scorestreaks: The classic scorestreak system returns, resetting upon player elimination.
  • Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot: Carry a melee weapon without sacrificing a secondary weapon.

A comprehensive Black Ops 6 multiplayer showcase is planned for the Call of Duty Next event on August 28th.
