Catch Pawmi & Alolan Vulpix: Pokémon Sleep Guide

Author : Simon Update:Mar 13,2025

Get ready for a snowy surprise in Pokémon Sleep! This winter, a delightful holiday event is bringing two adorable Pokémon to the sleepy world of sleep research: Eevee in a Santa hat, the charming Pawmi, and the icy Alolan Vulpix.

Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix's Pokémon Sleep Debut

The festive fun begins during the December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event, kicking off the week of December 23rd. This event boosts your chances of encountering Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, along with various bonuses to help you gather Dream Shards. And the best part? Shiny versions of both Pokémon will be available from the start!

Pawmi starts appearing at 3 PM on December 23rd on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. Its boosted appearance rate during the event makes this the ideal time to add it to your collection. Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot are all Snoozing-type Pokémon. Achieving a Snoozing sleep style (a light, common sleep type) significantly increases your chances of finding them. A Balanced sleep type also offers a chance, though lower.

Alolan Vulpix, also debuting at 3 PM on December 23rd, is a bit more elusive, appearing only at Snowdrop Tundra. Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails are Slumbering-type Pokémon, requiring a deep, 8-hour sleep for optimal encounter rates. While a Balanced sleep type can also yield results, your chances are lower.

Best Island for the Holiday Event: Snowdrop Tundra

To maximize your chances of catching both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, head to Snowdrop Tundra! This is the only island where both Pokémon appear. Remember, Snowdrop Tundra has higher team requirements, so prepare your team beforehand for a successful hunt.
