Uncover Master Schindel's Missing Possessions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
This guide will help you complete the challenging "Master Schindel's Toys" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld," in Kuttenberg.
The quest begins by tracking down an informant named Goatskin. Speak to the Bathhouse Madam, then Adam, who will reveal Goatskin's involvement in the theft. To find Goatskin, you can either speak with Lousy Mary or follow Udo, a bathhouse patron who appears in the evenings. Following Udo is recommended; he'll be robbed by Goatskin in an alley, leading to a confrontation.
During this encounter, attempt to obtain a map of the Kuttenberg Underground from Goatskin. If you fail a skill check, bribery will suffice. The map is located on a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city).
Locating the Stolen Goods
To efficiently retrieve the stolen items, locate the northern ladder leading into the Kuttenberg Underground. This area is dark, so bring a torch. Navigate the underground passages by consistently turning left at junctions. You'll eventually find Goatskin's stash in a barrel at a dead end (requiring a jump down at one point). Retrieve the book and astrolabe.
Return to Master Schindel (usually found northeast in the city during the day) to complete the quest and receive your rewards.
