TRAGsoft is unleashing a roguelike twist on its popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon, with the upcoming title Coromon: Rogue Planet. Announced for a 2025 release across multiple platforms, including Android, the game blends classic Coromon gameplay with exciting new roguelite elements.
What's New?
A freshly released trailer showcases the game's features. Coromon: Rogue Planet retains its signature turn-based combat but introduces procedurally generated Veluan wilderness, boasting over ten biomes that shift with each playthrough.
The "rescue and recruit" mechanic allows players to unlock seven unique characters, each with distinct playstyles, by aiding them in the wild. Over 130 monsters await capture, each possessing unique elemental affinities, personalities, and skills.
A meta-progression system lets players continually upgrade their abilities and equipment. Resource gathering and collaboration with other players to unravel an interstellar spaceship mystery are also key elements.
