Crashlands 2 has landed on Android and other platforms, bringing back the beloved Butterscotch Shenanigans team with their eagerly awaited sequel. The original Crashlands, released in 2016, was their breakout hit, captivating millions of players worldwide.
What's Different in Crashlands 2?
You reprise your role as Flux Dabes, the same disgruntled space-trucker from the first game, who returns to the planet Woanope seeking a much-needed break from the Bureau of Shipping. Upon landing, a surprise explosion strands you in a new, unfamiliar area, far from your old allies, equipped with only a few gadgets and your quirky instincts.
Woanope in Crashlands 2 feels more vibrant and alive than ever. You'll encounter a variety of creatures, explore strange biomes, and navigate random encounters, including the chance to lure a Trunkle into a cleverly set trap. Every character you meet, aside from Flux, is either an alien or a robot, and the game's humor is amplified with every item named with a playful pun or whimsical nonsense word.
The combat system has seen significant upgrades, while base-building now offers more detailed options, including tall walls, authentic roofs, and cozy crafting and farming corners. Building friendships with aliens unlocks new recipes and skills, emphasizing the importance of the friendship mechanic. Additionally, you can now raise pets by finding eggs, hatching them, nurturing them, and having them join you in battle.
A Sci-Fi Survival with Unhinged Alien Adventures
In Crashlands 2, the explosion that knocked you out of orbit is more than just bad luck; it's part of a larger mystery. As you explore the world and interact with its inhabitants, you'll uncover clues to unravel the mystery and identify the culprits behind it.
If you enjoyed the first game and are eager to dive into this new adventure, you can download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store.
