Crashlands 2 has just rolled out a significant update, version 1.1, from Butterscotch Shenanigans, packed with new features and challenges that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly awaiting.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, which ramps up the difficulty beyond the Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, hit harder, and boast beefier HP bars, making encounters more intense. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. Completing Legend Mode won't unlock extra achievements, but you'll automatically gain all the lower-difficulty achievements as a reward.
On the opposite end, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed experience. It's perfect for those who want to farm mushrooms, build charming homes, and fish without the constant threat of combat. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the storyline, decorate your base, and enjoy the company of Crashlands 2’s quirky characters.
A major highlight of Update 1.1 is the return of The Compendium. Responding to player feedback, the developers have reinstated this feature, which meticulously tracks all of Flux's discoveries, including the number of pets, recipes, and items you need to collect to reach your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With the release of Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 now actively participate in battles. Each pet comes equipped with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, enhancing your combat strategy.
Gear crafting has seen a significant overhaul, introducing random bonus stats when crafting armor, along with a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to explore.
Quality of life improvements are also abundant in this update. Players can now build on a broader range of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness at night, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. It was launched on April 10th, and this update demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and implementing player feedback.
