Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with significant updates, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the unveiling of a new character type called Eidols. This month also marks a celebration of the game's powerful female characters, offering players a chance to influence an upcoming Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. Jean Grey will be available to join your roster starting March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in an exciting new quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will further expand with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, will make its debut on March 5th and be available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator with capabilities for spying, sabotage, and assassination, executed with unmatched precision. Made from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix possesses remarkable light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles with its performance, it harbors a ruthless nature, designed to eliminate enemies while remaining undetected.
