Dead by Daylight Mobile: End of Service Announced by NetEase

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After four years, this mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit title will be shutting down. While the PC and console versions remain unaffected, Android users will need to say goodbye.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, a 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival game, offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either Killer or Survivor. Killers hunted Survivors, aiming for sacrifices to The Entity, while Survivors desperately fought for survival. Initially launched on PC in June 2016, the mobile version arrived in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue playing until the final shutdown on March 20th.

NetEase will be processing refunds according to regional laws. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-game purchases or accumulated XP on the mobile platform.

In short, Dead by Daylight Mobile's time is limited. Download it from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, if you want one last chance to experience the thrill of the hunt.
