Duet Night Abyss is preparing for its next testing phase with recruitment now open for its second closed beta. This upcoming fantasy action RPG will launch on mobile platforms soon, published by Hero Games and developed by Pan Studio. The game previously held its first closed beta test in January.
When Does Duet Night Abyss' Second Beta Test Occur?
The recruitment period for the second closed beta begins today, May 13th, and runs through June 2nd. The test will support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages. A new beta trailer has been released - watch it below.
To participate in this testing phase, visit the official Duet Night Abyss website and complete the application questionnaire. The developers are also conducting social media contests as alternative entry methods.
Gameplay and Story Overview
Duet Night Abyss combines anime-inspired character design with fluid Warframe-style movement mechanics. The story begins with a protagonist raised on a remote island alongside their best friend and local artisans.
The narrative takes a dark turn when military forces abduct the friend and throw the main character off a cliff. Players then embark on an intense adventure through an expansive world filled with emotional moments and hard-hitting action.
This final beta phase introduces the "Children From the Snowfield" story arc, allowing players to select either a male or female protagonist. The game presents events from both characters' perspectives, though rather than switching between them, players summon up to two companions for combat assistance.
That concludes our coverage of the Duet Night Abyss beta. For more mobile gaming news, check out our article on Super Farming Boy, now available in global Android Early Access.
