While development on Natlan continues, beta builds are increasingly incorporating placeholders for Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, exceeding even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, spanning westward from Natlan and encircling Fontaine to the north. This phased rollout hints at a larger, long-term expansion plan.

Previous speculation placed Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining strongly supports its location as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya. Its strategic position as a trade hub connects Snezhnaya to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's statements confirm Nod-Krai's southernmost location within Snezhnaya, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.

Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly connects to Mont Esus, a previously rumored Fontaine expansion area.
