Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide
In Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, your primary objective is to swiftly navigate through the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Achieving this milestone unlocks pivotal game features, such as PvP and Boss Fights, which are treasure troves of rewarding loot. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to reach these goals, and offer insights on how to efficiently utilize your stamina.
Reroll
For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling is a crucial strategy to kickstart your journey in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. At the game's launch, Suomi is the featured rate-up character. While it's possible to obtain her without rerolling, doing so might deplete your initial resources. Aim to reroll until you secure Suomi from the rate-up banner, alongside either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner’s banner. With Suomi and a second SSR DPS unit in your lineup, you're setting the stage for a formidable start.
Push Through the Story
Your next step is to diligently advance through the story campaign. At this stage, you can bypass the side battles and focus solely on story missions to boost your account level. A key strategy is to prioritize campaign missions until you hit a point where further progression requires a higher Commander level, at which point you should shift focus to other areas of the game.
Do Your Summons as Necessary
As you progress through missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. It's vital to reserve your Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners and not squander them on the standard banner. If Suomi eludes you, dedicate all your resources to her banner. Otherwise, use your standard summoning tickets on the standard banner to pursue another SSR character, but keep your Collapse Pieces untouched.
Limit Break and Level Up
Your characters' levels are intrinsically linked to your account level. Whenever your Commander level increases, head to the Fitting Room to enhance your Dolls and upgrade their weapons. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need to farm Stock Bars by completing Supply Missions in the Campaign menu to break through the limit. Focus exclusively on your main team, which should ideally include Suomi, Qiongjiu and/or Tololo, complemented by Sharkry and Ksenia. If you have Tololo, consider dropping Ksenia for an even stronger lineup.
Do the Event Missions
Upon hitting level 20, event missions become accessible. These are time-limited opportunities to delve into new side stories and amass Collapse Pieces and event currency. To fully capitalize on the event, complete all Normal missions and at least the first Hard mission. You'll have three daily attempts at Hard missions, which are your primary source of event currency. Use this currency to sweep through the event shop, acquiring summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources.
Dispatch Room and Affinity
Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system. To nurture this, visit the Dormitory and gift presents to your Dolls, boosting their affinity level. This not only allows you to send them on Dispatch missions for idle resource collection but also offers a chance to earn Wish Coins. These coins are pivotal in a separate gacha system for resource pulls and potentially securing a copy of Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other beneficial items, so it's important to keep this system active.
Boss Fights and Combat Exercise
Shift your attention to Boss Fights and Combat Exercise modes. Boss Fights are a challenge-based mode where you must defeat a boss within a limited number of turns, with increasing difficulty at higher levels. The ideal team for this mode includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry. Meanwhile, Combat Exercise represents the game's PvP arena, where you can strategically set weak defenses for other players to farm, while you focus on attacking easier targets to accumulate points without risking losses on your defenses.
Hard Mode Campaign Missions
Once you've conquered all Normal mode campaign missions, it's time to tackle Hard mode and the side battles. Although these don't contribute to your Commander experience, they're lucrative sources of Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.
