What is Gold Rush?
Gold Bars remain a crucial currency in Fortnite, allowing players to purchase items. This season introduces Gold Rush, a temporary power-up that significantly enhances player abilities. Activating Gold Rush increases movement speed, pickaxe swing speed, and pickaxe damage against structures. It provides a substantial competitive advantage, though its effects are time-limited.
How to Activate Gold Rush
Unlike other abilities, Gold Rush offers multiple activation methods:
- Gold-Infused Water: Immerse yourself in the gold-infused water found at various locations across the map. This quick dip grants you the Gold Rush buff.
- Gold Veins: Mine Gold Veins, the source of Gold Bars, to activate Gold Rush. Shiny Shafts, a key location for Fletcher Kane's operations, is a prime spot to find these veins. However, be wary of Kane's heavily armed associates.
