Google Play Store may soon introduce a game-changing feature: automatic app launching. Tired of forgetting to open newly downloaded apps? This could be the answer.
The Buzz:
According to Android Authority, a teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19 reveals a potential feature called "App Auto Open." This feature would automatically launch apps immediately after download completion. No more searching for icons or wondering about download status – the app will open automatically.
Important Note: This is based on APK analysis, not an official announcement. A release date remains unconfirmed.
However, if implemented, it would be entirely optional. Users can enable or disable this auto-launch functionality as desired.
How It Works (Presumably):
Upon download completion, a notification banner will appear at the top of your screen for approximately 5 seconds, potentially accompanied by a sound or vibration. This ensures you won't miss the launch, even if multitasking.
This information is still unofficial. We will update you with any official announcements from Google.
