Honor of Kings Set to Compete in 2025 Esports World Cup with $3M Prize Pool

The Esports World Cup 2025 is set to redefine mobile esports, bringing together a stellar lineup that includes PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. This summer's event in Riyadh promises to showcase the best in mobile gaming with significant prize pools and fierce competition. Adding to the excitement, Honor of Kings is making a grand return to the Esports World Cup, amplifying the thrill with its inclusion.

Under a three-year partnership with EWC, the Honor of Kings World Cup is back with an impressive $3 million prize pool. The tournament, which will run from July 15th to July 26th, is set to feature 18 top teams from around the world, including elite squads from the King Pro League and Asian Champions League.

The competition begins with a Group Stage where 16 teams are divided into four double-elimination brackets. The top team from each group will advance directly to the Playoffs, while the runners-up will compete in a Last Chance bracket for the remaining two Playoff spots.

Matches in the initial rounds will be contested in best-of-three and best-of-five formats, leading up to the Playoffs where the champions of KPL and ACL will be waiting. The Playoff stage, culminating on August 16th, will feature a best-of-seven format, with an additional match for third place.
