KLab Inc. has provided an update on their highly anticipated JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020, the project experienced delays due to a change in development partners. KLab initially collaborated with Shengqu Games, but now they've partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to bring the game to fruition.
After overcoming development hurdles, the game is back on track for a global launch (excluding Japan) in 2026. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a strong portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

For those unfamiliar with the source material, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a celebrated manga series by Hirohiko Araki, initially serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. It's since been adapted into numerous anime series and films. The series is known for its surreal world blending reality with supernatural elements and epic battles, spanning diverse storylines from battling ancient vampires to unraveling interdimensional mysteries.
This isn't the franchise's first foray into the gaming world; a Super Famicom RPG debuted in 1993, followed by various titles. Popular Android games based on the series include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
