Warhorse Studios has announced upcoming official mod support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, enabling players to unleash their creativity in medieval Bohemia.
The developer revealed this via a concise Steam post, promising modding tools through Steamworks. While specifics like a release date remain undisclosed, the post confirms players will be able to "create, tweak, and expand" the game. Although unofficial mods already exist on platforms like Nexus Mods, an official teaser image (below) showcases a potential Henry with a zebra mount and a fish-shaped sword.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's recent release has generated significant excitement, making Warhorse's ambitious post-launch plans unsurprising. Beyond Steamworks mod support, three expansions are planned for 2025: "Brushes with Death" (summer), "Legacy of the Forge" (fall), and "Mysteria Ecclesia" (winter). These expansions will expand Henry's story, complemented by free updates including Hardcore Mode and Horse Racing.
Warhorse's post-launch support for this highly popular sequel is only just beginning. For newcomers to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, guides on early-game strategies (like prioritizing tasks and making money quickly) and a comprehensive walkthrough are available. Additional guides cover various activities, side quests, cheat codes, and console commands.
