"Konosuba: Fantastic Days Closes, Offline Rumored"

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days to Conclude Service in January 2025

Sesisoft's popular RPG, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, will cease operations on January 30th, 2025, marking the end of a nearly five-year run for both its global and Japanese servers. However, the developers are planning a limited offline version to preserve the core gameplay experience, including the main storyline, key quests, and significant events. Further details regarding this offline version are pending.

In-App Purchases and Refunds

The official game channels will close on February 28th, 2025. In-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. Players can still utilize existing in-game Quartz and items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025, for eligible players.

A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days

Initially launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game adaptation of the KonoSuba franchise. The game's charming narrative, appealing visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received. Despite its initial success, the game ultimately shares the fate of many gacha RPGs, succumbing to challenges in maintaining player engagement and managing production costs.

With only a few months remaining, players who haven't experienced KonoSuba: Fantastic Days are encouraged to download it from the Google Play Store before the servers shut down.
