League of Legends: Wild Rift Prepares Major 6.2 Update
Wild Rift's version 6.2, titled Powers Unbound, launches July 17 with the Soulforce Awakening theme. The update introduces new champions, item reworks, gameplay adjustments, behavior systems, and premium cosmetic content.
Massive Changes Coming in Wild Rift 6.2
Three unique champions are joining the roster. Aurora, the Witch Between Worlds, debuts as a mid-lane AP assassin requiring precise positioning. Bard arrives with his signature magical journeys that reshape team rotations. Vel'Koz completes the trio as a geometrically-focused artillery mage perfect for strategic players.
Game-Changing Item Updates
The update overhauls core items including Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge and Essence Reaver. New marksman item Soul Transfer spawns attack-copying clones on critical hits. Players will also encounter magical Easter eggs and an enchanted piggy that rewards gold, XP, and even turret-charging piglets when defeated.
Enhanced Player Behavior System
Version 6.2 implements a five-tier Behavior Score system that rewards positive players with ranked access and cosmetics while restricting toxic players. Ranked and Legendary Queues now share progression, and Grandmaster rank expands into three distinct tiers for better matchmaking.
