Marvel Rivals Launches Torch, Thing, Map in New Trailers

Hero shooters are in the spotlight this week. Overwatch 2’s Season 15 is live, Marvel Rivals nears the mid-point of Season 1 in two days, and Team Fortress 2, the original classic, had its code added to the Source SDK. But the freshest news comes from the newest title.

Marvel Rivals developers have dropped gameplay trailers introducing the Human Torch and The Thing, completing the Fantastic Four roster. These heroes join the superhero shooter this Friday, February 21.

As a Duelist, the Human Torch (Johnny Storm) dominates with aerial agility. He can fly, unleash fire projectiles, trap foes within a ring of fire, and summon devastating fire tornadoes.

The Thing (Benjamin J. Grimm) serves as a Defender. His abilities include hurling allies to safety and using a seismic ground pound to launch enemies airborne.

The reveal also included a brief teaser for a new map: Central Park.

This major update arrives this Friday.
