Marvel Snap's "Arcanists" Season Launches on Android

Second Dinner has released the newest season of Marvel Snap, titled Masters of the Arcane. Prepare to immerse yourself in a world of mysticism and explore some of the more obscure characters from Marvel's roster.

Masters of the Arcane Introduces New Characters to Marvel Snap

This season shifts the focus to heroes and villains who don't usually take center stage. Kicking off the rollout today and building up to July 1, Nicholas Scratch and Morgan Le Fay are the first arrivals through the portal.

Throughout the month, they'll be joined by Merlin, The Ancient One, Nightmare, Dormammu, Clea, Kid Omega, Cobra, and Jennifer Kale. Additionally, the Astral Plane debuts as a new location, representing The Ancient One's training grounds—a realm where illusions thrive.

Merlin, the star of the season pass, is a remarkably skilled wizard. In Marvel Snap, he introduces a highly unpredictable element to each turn during the Masters of the Arcane season. His unique ability to swap your weakest card for bonus energy on the following turn can completely shift the momentum of a match.

Experience These New Additions

From June 16th to 25th, dive into the High Voltage: Overdrive mode—a temporary variation of the regular High Voltage mode. Once five charge cards are played, the reactor detonates, changing the gameplay entirely. Complete missions in this mode to unlock Kid Omega and Cobra.

Two new locations also arrive with the Masters of the Arcane season. Camelot boosts every card there to 5 Power after turn five, while the Astral Plane spawns a zero-Power copy of a card from your hand at the end of each turn.

Additionally, starting June 10th, Marvel Snap's first fully self-published build goes live. This means Second Dinner is taking full control over operations, from customer support and in-game logins to the web shop, all now managed in-house.
