HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is keeping busy! Their upcoming game, previously known as Astaweave Haven, has a new name: Petit Planet. This change comes even before any official previews, hinting at significant development shifts.
If you're a fan of gacha or RPG games, you might have already heard whispers of Astaweave Haven. However, details from MiHoYo have been scarce. Early indications suggest a departure from their usual open-world gacha formula, pointing towards a life-simulation or management game similar to Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.
The new name, Petit Planet, is a significant departure from the previous title. The name itself suggests a shift in gameplay, hinting at a management sim rather than a gacha RPG.
Release Date?
Currently, there's no official release date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile in July. HoYoVerse registered the Petit Planet trademark on October 31st, and it's now awaiting US and UK approval.
Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (remember Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail?), we can anticipate a swift launch after name approval.
