Remember those quirky themed popcorn buckets? Well, get ready for another round. The upcoming Minecraft movie is hopping on this consumer trend with its own theatrical concession novelties launching alongside the film's release.
As revealed in images shared by DiscussingFilm on X/Twitter below, the Minecraft movie will feature popcorn packaged in explosive TNT-themed containers, paired with drink holders modeled after the game's iconic Chicken Jockey mobs. These collectibles appear to be Cinemark theater exclusives in the U.S., though other chains may unveil their own Minecraft-inspired merchandise.

These Minecraft-themed containers continue a growing theater tradition that gained mainstream popularity with 2019's Star Wars R2-D2 popcorn holders. While some might argue this novelty trend has become somewhat overdone (not to mention pricey), theater chains clearly believe these limited-edition collectibles help drive audiences to cinemas.
