Eerie Worlds: A Thrilling Tactical CCG Featuring Global Folklore Monsters

Rift-based games often spell trouble, but Avid Games flips the script with its highly anticipated Eerie Worlds, a captivating follow-up to Cards, the Universe and Everything. This tactical CCG immerses players in a world teeming with monsters, each meticulously crafted and inspired by real-world mythological and folkloric horrors.

Prepare to encounter a diverse bestiary! From Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake-onna to Slavic creatures such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav, the game boasts a truly global collection. Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others populate this chilling roster. Each card features detailed, researched descriptions, enhancing both gameplay and educational value.

Eerie Worlds introduces four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, creating intricate strategic depth. Monsters share certain properties but not others, leading to complex tactical choices.

Your personal monster collection, the Grimoire, expands through merging duplicate cards. Starting with 160 basic cards, the possibilities are vast, with more cards promised in future updates.

Avid Games plans to release two additional Hordes in the coming months, ensuring Eerie Worlds remains a consistently engaging and challenging experience.

Gameplay involves constructing a deck of nine monster cards and one world card, engaging in nine intense 30-second turns. Strategic decisions regarding mana usage and synergistic combinations are paramount.

Dive into the captivating world of Eerie Worlds today! The game is available now for free on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
