Locate Mutt, Your Loyal Canine Companion, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Mutt, Henry's faithful dog in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, disappears early in the game. This guide provides a straightforward path to his rescue.
Mutt's Location:
Mutt is nestled near a wolf den southwest of the Nomads' Camp, just east of the river's bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his location.
Fast travel to the Nomads' Camp for easy access. Head southwest along the path leading into the forest; this will likely place you above the cave. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach, guiding you to the clearing near the cave where he's surrounded by wolves.
A cutscene will initiate upon your arrival, introducing a combat tutorial for commanding Mutt. Choose to fight or flee the wolves; engaging them offers a convenient skill-building opportunity.
After the wolf encounter, Mutt will be under your control. Interact with him (hold L1 while facing him) to feed him or send him home.
Finding Mutt During the "Invaders" Side Quest:
Interestingly, you might discover Mutt's location while undertaking the "Invaders" side quest. After drinking with the Cumans, following Vasko uphill in your inebriated state will lead you directly to the cave. However, attempting this while drunk and possibly at night is significantly more challenging.
It's strongly advised to rescue Mutt before continuing the "Invaders" quest. Navigating the wolves while intoxicated and in the dark is considerably more difficult, and fleeing could result in accidental death from falls.
