As part of IGN Live, we're thrilled to exclusively debut the chilling yet oddly adorable first two minutes of Crunchyroll's Nyaight of the Living Cat anime – along with announcing its Dead by Daylight crossover event.
A Purr-fectly Terrifying Premiere
The opening sequence below introduces both the characters and their terrifying-yet-whimsical world. As protagonists flee shadowy pursuers, they discover their hunters are actually hordes of adorable cats.
When one victim stumbles into the feline swarm, the horror takes a heartwarming twist – instead of being devoured, he's smothered in affectionate licks. However, these kitty kisses carry a sinister transformation, turning him into another member of the cat horde.
Dead by Daylight Collab Coming Soon
While specific details remain under wraps, Behavior Interactive confirms Dead by Daylight's crossover content will be revealed shortly. Expect these cuddly nightmares to invade the survival horror game soon.
Nyaight of the Living Cat premieres July 6, 2025 – airing domestically on TV Tokyo while Crunchyroll streams internationally.
