Parallel Experiment, the cooperative puzzle game from Eleven Puzzles, has a new release date. Originally slated for a March Steam launch, the game will now debut on June 5th, simultaneously on Steam, Android, and iOS. This delay allowed the developers to include all planned features, including optional puzzles, additional mechanics, and the mobile version, ensuring a complete and consistent experience across all platforms. Cross-play will also be available at launch.
In Parallel Experiment, players step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog, caught in a deadly game orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer. Success hinges on teamwork and communication as you solve a series of interconnected puzzles. Over 80 challenges await, ranging from deciphering codes and manipulating water flows to hacking computers and even waking up a rather inebriated individual. The game's noir-inspired setting and comic book art style create a captivating and immersive atmosphere, adding to the tension of the time-sensitive investigation.
But it's not all serious deduction! Between puzzles, players can engage in retro-style mini-games, such as darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, all with a cooperative twist. Interactive dialogues with dynamic NPCs further enrich the mystery, and players can even playfully annoy their partner with in-game pranks like knocking on windows or screen-shaking.
Featuring five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous game, Parallel Experiment promises a significantly enhanced cooperative gameplay experience. The game launches June 5th. Visit the Steam page for more details. In the meantime, check out this list of the best puzzlers available on iOS!
