Pokémon Go Concludes Might and Mastery Season with Global Challenge

Author : Harper Update:May 27,2025

The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon Go is reaching its exciting finale, with Niantic placing a strong emphasis on teamwork. From Tuesday, May 20th to Thursday, May 22nd, the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge beckons you to send as many Gifts as you can to your friends. This event is your golden opportunity to shower your fellow trainers with goodies.

During this challenge period, you can open up to 50 Gifts per day, increasing your chances of collecting Stardust, useful items, and strengthening friendships. More importantly, each Gift sent contributes to the global community's effort to unlock a fantastic reward: giftable Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic: Machop.

If the challenge is successfully completed by the community, starting May 23rd, you'll have the ability to gift these Machop Special Research tickets to any friend who has reached Great Friends status with you. You don't need to purchase a ticket for yourself to spread the Fighting-type love—just head to the in-game shop and start gifting. Each trainer can gift up to 20 tickets per day, providing ample opportunity for generosity.

This initiative leads directly into the much-anticipated Machop Community Day Classic on May 24th, running from 2 to 5 pm local time. During the event, the Superpower Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, and yes, the Shiny version is making a comeback, offering another chance to build your green-glowing Machamp army for those who missed out previously.

Don't miss out on evolving Machoke into Machamp up until May 31st to learn Payback, a Dark-type Charged Attack that enhances the classic Fighter's performance in specific match-ups. With Stardust bonuses, three-hour Incense and Lures, and limited-time Timed Research offering a themed Machop encounter with boosted Shiny odds, there's a wealth of activities to engage with.

Prepare for this thrilling event by downloading Pokémon Go for free now. Also, visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on essentials in advance and make the most of the Might and Mastery season's finale.
