Leaked Pokemon GO Adventure Effects for Black and White Kyurem
A recent Pokemon GO data mine reveals upcoming Adventure Effects tied to the arrival of Black and White Kyurem in early March 2025 during the GO Tour: Unova event. These Legendary Pokemon, fusions of Kyurem with Zekrom and Reshiram, will introduce unique gameplay mechanics.
Specifically, the leak from Pokeminers points to two new effects:
- White Kyurem's Ice Burn: This effect slows the target ring during Pokemon encounters, providing a larger window for precise Great or Excellent throws.
- Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock: This effect temporarily paralyzes the encountered Pokemon, preventing it from fleeing or disrupting the capture attempt.
These temporary bonuses promise to significantly aid in catching challenging Pokemon.
Beyond the Adventure Effects, the leak hints at a new item: the Lucky Trinket. This item instantly grants Lucky Friend status with another player (provided they are already Great Friends or higher), facilitating Lucky Trades for a limited time. This is a significant advantage, as achieving Lucky Friend status organically is infrequent.
While the Unova event is still some time off, other exciting additions are on the horizon. The Corviknight evolution line arrives January 21st during the Steely Resolve event, alongside five-star raids featuring Deoxys and Dialga. Furthermore, Dynamax versions of the Legendary Bird Trio are available in Max Raids from January 20th to February 3rd.
