The Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 will feature an action-packed weekend full of competition, celebration, and community engagement. As part of the festivities, players who can't attend in person still have the opportunity to participate and earn rare in-game items through Twitch Drops. By watching the official live stream on Twitch, trainers may unlock up to three exclusive codes that grant access to special Timed Research tasks.

How to Earn Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 Twitch Drops

To qualify for these exclusive drops, simply watch 30 minutes of the Pokémon GO World Championships live stream on Twitch—anytime during Day 1, Day 2, or Day 3 of the event. However, it’s essential to connect your Twitch account to your Pokémon Trainer Club account beforehand. Keep in mind that if you minimize the stream window, your drop progress timer will pause.

How to Claim Your Twitch Drop Rewards

After completing the required viewing time, you’ll receive a notification via a pop-up in Twitch chat indicating that your reward is ready to claim. You can access your rewards directly from the Twitch Drops Inventory Page. Additionally, your redemption codes may also appear in the View Inventory section at rewards.pokemon.com. Please note: all codes must be redeemed before August 26, 2024 at 11:59 PM UTC.

Exclusive In-Game Rewards Overview

Trainers can earn up to two codes during the live stream—one per day. A third code is available for those who tune into approved co-streams showcasing the championships between August 16 (9:00 a.m. HST) and August 19 (12:00 a.m. HST). Each code unlocks a unique set of Timed Research missions with valuable in-game prizes:

Day 1 Reward Details

Redeeming the Day 1 code grants access to special Timed Research featuring:

• A Sableye* encounter that knows the Fast Attack Shadow Claw and the Charged Attack Foul Play
• An Elite Charged TM
• Sableye caught during this event will retain the same move set: Shadow Claw and Foul Play
• Trainers Level 31 and above who complete three-star Shadow Raids will receive one additional Candy XL. (Note: Shadow Sableye may appear in these raids during the event!)

Day 2 Reward Details

On Day 2, trainers gain access to Timed Research focused on assembling a powerful Great League team. Choose one of the following three team combinations:

• Pancham

Team Option 2

• Galarian Weezing
• Skorupi
• Chespin

Team Option 3

• Jigglypuff
• Shellos
• Inkay

In addition to your chosen team, you'll also receive 8,500 Stardust and enjoy an increased chance of encountering Shiny variants of these Pokémon.
