Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three iconic cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further event specifics will be revealed in March. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, enhanced gameplay, and special bonuses. In-person attendees enjoy unique city-specific experiences and exclusive merchandise. Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, themed habitats, community hubs, and team lounges. While full details are still under wraps, expect a similar format to previous years.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January!

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two thrilling January events:

Fashion Week: Taken Over: (January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm local time)

• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai from 12 km Eggs.
• Other Shadow Pokémon appearances (Snivy, Tepig, etc.).
• Chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk!

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh: (January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm local time)

• Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to capture Shadow Ho-Oh.
• $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids.
• Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• Opportunity to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
