The Dark Knight once enjoyed a seemingly endless stream of video game releases, with a new title appearing almost annually. Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series, in particular, revolutionized superhero gaming, setting a high bar that continues to influence the genre today.
Lately, however, Batman's video game presence has dwindled. A proper solo Batman adventure hasn't launched since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic book fans have numerous upcoming superhero games to anticipate, those craving a Batman experience will need to explore the back catalog to find the best Batman games.

He featured prominently in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though it's not strictly a Batman-centric game. The Arkhamverse also saw a new addition—a VR experience.
