Speed Demons 2 Announced for PC

Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. This PC title, a sequel to a popular mobile game, boasts a similar high-speed aesthetic and gameplay, and is slated for release later this year.

The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players this unconventional approach is surprisingly intuitive.

Speed Demons 2 offers ten game modes, including the destructively fun Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all echoing the spirit of Burnout Road Rage by challenging players to eliminate other vehicles within a time limit. For a different kind of challenge, Scratchless mode, reminiscent of Burnout's Burning Lap, requires players to reach the finish line with minimal car damage.
