Unlike many first-party Switch 2 titles, this fighter maintains an accessible $59.99 price point. Several other Switch 2 releases, including enhanced ports of original Switch games, command premium prices up to $79.99 (see Mario Kart World and Tears of the Kingdom).

This Switch 2 release utilizes Nintendo's Game-Key Card system. These physical cards resemble standard Switch game cards but contain a download code rather than the full game. After inserting the card, players must download the 50GB file from Nintendo eShop - consider expanding storage with a microSD Express card.
