Colossi Games launches Vinland Tales: Viking Survival, a new Android survival game. This follows their successful survival titles, Daisho: Survival of a Samurai and Gladiators: Survival in Rome.
The Vinland Tales Story:
Shipwrecked off the coast of an unknown land, you, a Viking leader, must establish a thriving colony. Vinland Tales blends survival, action, RPG elements, combat, crafting, and village building. Gameplay involves familiar survival tasks: chopping wood, mining, hunting, and exploring. Your initial goal is to build a camp, expanding it into a full-fledged Viking village. Recruiting and managing rescued clansmen is crucial for resource refinement, construction (houses, defenses), and overall village prosperity.
Crafting is a core mechanic, encompassing food, potions, and various workstations (hunting cabins, sawhorses, stone cutters, cooking pots, tailoring tables, and iron ore smelters).
A Vast and Challenging World:
Vinland presents a harsh environment: icy landscapes, dark caves, swamps, and dangerous forests. The game features the story of Leif Eriksson, allowing players to participate in raids and construct temples dedicated to Thor and Odin. A range of craftable weapons (spears, bows) are upgradable for increased combat effectiveness. Players will face formidable enemies, including Ragnarök armies and bandit bosses. Additional features include quests, talent trees, achievements, and clan-based PvP leaderboards.
