The Overflowing Palette in Wuthering Waves is a mysterious phenomenon tied to broken morph paintings that siphon energy from their surroundings. These eerie artworks sustain their form by draining the vitality and color from nearby flora and fauna, creating zones devoid of life and vibrancy.

Completing each Overflowing Palette puzzle rewards players with valuable resources: 20 Resonate Calcite, 15 Astrite, 25 Union EXP, 5,000 Shell Credit, and essential upgrading materials. The Resonate Calcite earned can be exchanged at Stillwind Grocery in Egla City for a range of useful and rare items, making these puzzles a key part of progression.

Thessaleo Fells Overflowing Palette Location #1

Located south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon, this Overflowing Palette sits inside a ruined structure. To reach it, teleport to the beacon, descend to ground level, then head north into the building. To solve the puzzle and turn all blocks blue:

• Select red and dye the four central blue blocks.
• Switch to yellow and paint all red blocks.
• Finally, use blue to fill in the remaining yellow squares.

Head south from the first location to find the second Overflowing Palette. This puzzle must be completed in exactly four steps, with the goal of turning all blocks blue:

• Apply yellow to all green blocks.
• Use red to dye the yellow squares.
• Finish with blue to paint over the red blocks.

West of Porto-Veno Castle lies the third Overflowing Palette. Teleport to the nearby waypoint, proceed south, and interact with the painting. The objective is to turn all blocks yellow:

• Use blue to paint the red blocks on the right.
• Switch to red and dye all blue squares.
• Finally, apply yellow to all red blocks.

Return to the Resonance Beacon west of Porto-Veno Castle, but this time ascend the northwestern hill to find the fourth puzzle. Players must turn all blocks red in just three steps:

• Use blue to paint the yellow squares.
• Dye the green blocks with blue again.
• Finally, apply red to all blue blocks.

North of the Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells-Twin Peaks northern Resonance Beacon, you’ll find the fifth Overflowing Palette. Fast travel to the beacon, glide off the northern edge, and approach the painting. Solve it in three steps to turn all blocks yellow:

• Start with green to dye the blue blocks.
• Use red to color the green squares.
• Finish by applying yellow to all red blocks.
