HoYoverse has officially announced the release date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled "Bury Your Tears with the Past." Set to launch on April 23rd, this update will conclude the narrative arc of Season 1. The much-awaited reveal focuses on unraveling the mysteries surrounding the Sacrifice crisis while delving deeper into key characters' backstories.

Unveiling the Secrets

As Proxies venture further, they uncover the intricate details of Vivian's past, shedding light on Hugo’s dramatic descent into the Hollow. Tensions escalate between Mockingbird and TOPS following Hugo's fateful fall, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a high-ranking Void Hunter investigator. Together with Vivian, players will infiltrate dangerous territories to locate the Sacrifice Core. Along the way, Vivian confronts unresolved issues from her past, while the Exaltists' conspiracy unravels under scrutiny.

New Characters Join the Ranks

Version 1.7 introduces two powerful S-Rank agents from Mockingbird:

• Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent known for her graceful combat style. Armed with a parasol and rapier, she excels at dealing Corruption damage, especially when paired with other characters' EX Special Attacks.
• Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent wielding a suitcase that transforms into a menacing scythe. His Totalize ability amplifies damage based on the duration of enemy stuns.

Returning alongside these newcomers are Robin, Mockingbird’s nimble Bangboo ally, and Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent and Lighter, who will appear in the Version 1.7 banners.

Fresh Events and Gameplay Features

In addition to the storyline updates, Version 1.7 brings engaging new activities. For instance, "Say It With Flowers" allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling customer requests and crafting beautiful arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent mini-game in the Quality Time mode, offering exclusive rewards.
