Peak hunters

Catch them all! The only app with offline maps for peak bagging.

Supported locations:

Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Faroe Islands, Italy (Sardinia, Sicily), Portugal (Madeira)

The Peak Hunters app features a growing database of summits across the Czech Republic and neighboring regions. Using your phone's GPS, you can log your ascents to earn points based on the peak's altitude and climb difficulty. Add your own ratings and photos to each summit you conquer. All peaks are displayed clearly on the map, and you can filter them by country, mountain range, or distance from your current location. Download offline map data for areas with weak signal—these maps use OpenStreetMap data and show hiking trails. If you discover a missing peak or plan to visit one not yet in the database, you can submit it by long-pressing its location on the map. Once approved, the peak will appear for everyone, and you'll earn bonus points for adding it. Peak Hunters includes expanding statistics and collectible badges. Your collected badges are saved permanently, and rare badges come with special congratulations. Check the 48-hour weather forecast for any peak to help plan your trips. A standout feature is peak identification: point your phone toward a summit with the correct distance filter to recognize it. You can use the app completely anonymously in incognito mode, which works identically but doesn't allow profile transfer, logout, or data recovery if your device is lost. We recommend trying incognito mode first, then converting to a registered profile. The app is ad-free and requires no fees. It was born from a hiker's passion for an app to track peaks on travels with offline maps. You can now manually toggle between dark and light mode in your profile settings. If you find an error, have a suggestion, or any other feedback, contact us directly via the in-app form. We value your input. The project has no separate website—the app is fully functional on its own.
