- Product Summary

STEINS;GATE is the second collaborative science-fiction adventure title from 5pb. and Nitroplus.

First released for Xbox 360 in October 2009, it received the prestigious Famitsu Award.

Subsequent releases on PC and PSP were followed by spin-off games, character songs, and drama CDs, with the series exceeding 100,000 copies sold.

An anime adaptation began airing in April 2011 and continues to grow in popularity.

The narrative of STEINS;GATE breaks from conventional time-travel stories, offering a "hypothetical science adventure" that delves into the mechanics of time travel itself.

Many scenarios and scientific concepts are grounded in real-world theory, creating a credible and intellectually engaging experience for players.

- Story

Rintaro Okabe, known as "Okarin," is a university student with "chuunibyou" (adolescent delusions of grandeur).

He proclaims himself the mad scientist "Kyouma Hououin" and runs the "Future Gadget Lab," inventing strange devices with his two lab members.

One day, they accidentally create a device capable of sending text messages to the past...

SERN, John Titor, the vintage "IBN5100" computer, time machines, and the butterfly effect—eleven theories of time travel.

As these elements converge, a global-scale incident erupts from Akihabara!

With the future's fate in his hands, what choice will Okarin make?
