*Split Fiction* offers a linear co-op adventure, but don't let that fool you—there's plenty of room to explore and dive into what the game calls Side Stories. While these detours are optional, they're where you'll find some of the game's most memorable moments. From transforming into pigs to competing in deadly game shows, these side quests are not to be missed. Plus, there's an achievement, "Bookworms," waiting for those who complete all 12. Here’s your guide to uncovering every Side Story in *Split Fiction*.

How To Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

From Chapters 2 through 5, you'll encounter 12 Side Stories, three in each chapter. Here's how to find them all:

Legend of the Sandfish – You'll naturally stumble upon the first Side Story in Chapter 2 after the Rush Hour section. It's unmissable.

Farmlife – Located in Chapter 2's Streets of Neon section. After jumping a small barrier but before reaching the elevators on the left, you'll find it.

Mountain Hike – The last Side Story in Chapter 2 is in the Big City Life section. Near the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to throw her to a ledge opposite with a small ladder. Mio should drop the ladder, allowing access.

Train Heist – In Chapter 3's Lord Evergreen section, while crossing water with a plank, you'll spot this Side Story on a ledge. Reach it by wall running with Mio and Zoe.

Gameshow – Found in Chapter 3's Walking Sticks of Doom section, after the side-scrolling part. A bit of platforming will lead you to it.

Collapsing Star – The final Side Story in Chapter 3, located in the Halls of Ice section. It's right on the main path, impossible to miss.

Kites – In Chapter 4's Toxic Tumblers section, find it at the end of a long tube.

Moon Market – In the Test Chamber section of Chapter 4, after the crane sequence, look for it on a ledge to the left. A bit of platforming will get you there.

Notebook – The last Side Story in Chapter 4, located in the Soaring Desperados section. Use the jetpack to avoid the giant wheel and hover to the left side of the room where it awaits.

Slopes of War – The first Side Story in Chapter 5, found in the Water Temple section. After hatching your dragons, solve the lever puzzle on the left past the golden balls to unlock it.

Space Escape – In Chapter 5's Craft Temple section, post-dragon battle, launch Mio to a ledge using her glide and Zoe's roll. Have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb up to the Side Story.

Birthday Cake – The final Side Story in *Split Fiction*, found in Chapter 5's Treasure Temple section. Complete the soul puzzle, and you'll find it on your left.

Once you've completed all 12 Side Stories, the "Bookworms" achievement in *Split Fiction* will unlock automatically.
