Monster Hunter Now Tests New Monster Outbreaks Feature

Exciting news for all Monster Hunter Now enthusiasts: Niantic is introducing a thrilling new feature called Monster Outbreaks, and they're looking for your feedback to perfect it before its official launch. This testing phase is your chance to dive into the action and help shape the future of the game.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing will take place from April 26th to April 27th. Each day, you can join the event twice: from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. This limited-time window is your opportunity to experience the new feature firsthand.

During these outbreaks, specific points on the map will be swarmed with 8-star Black Diablos. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to team up with other players and take down a whopping 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak location within the one-hour window. Remember, this count is per location, not a global total!

To participate, you'll need to be at least HR 11. Note that you can't use the party feature; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Look for the special icon on the map marking the outbreak points, tap on them for details, and use the sign-up roster to coordinate with other hunters.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The mechanics of the slay count are quite fascinating. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, that counts as four towards the 100 needed. And if your group reaches the 100 mark before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.

Successfully hitting the 100-monster goal comes with some sweet rewards: 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, if you sign up using the roster, you'll also earn a special Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you ready to join the hunt? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and participate in the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend. Your feedback could make a significant impact on the game's future!
