Application Description

Blind Shogi is a strategic game where players battle without knowing their opponent's pieces. Deduce your opponent's pieces based on captured units and strive for victory.

This Android application offers a single-player experience of Blind Shogi; online multiplayer is not supported.

In Blind Shogi, the objective is to guess your opponent's pieces from those you've captured and conquer their headquarters. Losing your headquarters to an opponent's piece results in defeat.

The app features:

Normal Matches: Challenge the AI at "Beginner" or "Advanced" difficulty levels.
Campaign Mode: Learn the rules and play through tutorial levels featuring Naofumi Tatsumi and Maresuke Nogi modes.
Referee Mode: A helpful tool for playing Blind Shogi offline with a friend when a traditional referee isn't available.

(Note: This game is known internationally as Stratego.)

An interesting take on Shogi. The challenge of playing blind is engaging, but it can be frustrating at times. More difficulty levels would be nice.
