Kingdom Come: Liberation Post Scriptum: Mining Morals

Author : Isaac Update:Feb 24,2025

Navigating the choices in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, particularly within the main and side quests, can be challenging. This guide focuses on the Post Scriptum side quest and whether you should aid the miners.

Initiating Post Scriptum:

This side quest begins in the Kuttenberg region. Locate the tavern west of Kuttenberg city and speak with Kvyertsolav to initiate the quest. You'll be tasked with writing a letter for the miners. The letter's tone (aggressive, neutral, or refined) doesn't affect the overall outcome. After writing, the miners may attempt to harm you; a successful Speech check allows you to escape.

Should You Betray the Miners?

After escaping the miners, you can choose to hand them over to the bailiff. This ends the quest immediately, yielding a meager 100 groschen reward. This is not the optimal outcome.

Helping Markold or the Miners?

Next, deliver the letter to Markold. You can choose to blackmail him, give him the letter directly, or cooperate with him against the miners. Blackmailing is ill-advised due to a difficult Speech check and immediate quest conclusion.

Helping Markold involves killing three miners, resulting in a paltry 60 groschen reward—the worst possible outcome.

The Recommended Path:

Give Markold the letter as intended. He'll provide seven groschen and direct you to meet miners north of the city. Meet Myslibor at the designated location. When Markold attacks, assist the miners in defeating him. This yields a 160 groschen reward and ensures the miners escape their oppressive working conditions.

In conclusion, aiding the miners in the Post Scriptum quest offers the most rewarding and morally sound outcome in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more game insights, including guidance on other quests and romance options, consult additional resources.
