Why We Focus on WiFi Speed

While many users believe passwords are the most crucial feature of a WiFi database, we find connection quality and internet speed far more important. Passwords today change frequently and are often easy to obtain once you're at a venue, especially in hotels where guests receive individual login keys. If you've ever searched for a stable connection, you know the frustration of finding a hotspot only to discover it's too slow or unstable for use. Our approach helps you locate internet with the quality you need. Each spot uses color-coded symbols to show what the connection is suitable for: email, browsing, gaming, streaming, or video chat.

Where Our Hotspots Come From:

WiFi Finder sources its data directly from SpeedSpots, a crowdsourced database of hundreds of thousands of global WiFi hotspots. It's the only database that rates WiFi primarily by connection speed. Using our Wi-Fi analyzer tools, we gather key information for each location:

✓ Stability and speed for download/upload in Mbps, plus connection latency in ms. This ensures the Wi-Fi meets your needs.

✓ Wi-Fi signal strength in dBm. This helps us estimate connection stability to prevent interruptions.

✓ Encryption type (None, WEP, WPA, WPA2). Know how secure a hotspot is, important for privacy-conscious users.

✓ Usage fee (free or paid). Don't pay for poor internet when a great free connection might be nearby.
